In order to protect the environment.Kazakhstan has adopted severalnational plans for the protection of the environment.The plans of the lastfive ycars mainly inclucle：（1） Strategy 2050，involving environmentalprotection： a special emphasis is given to the path towards greendevelopment and effOHs to address the crisis of population imbalance，the food security crisis，extreme shortage of water resources，the energysecurity crisis，and the crisis of the exhaustion of natural resources.Forexample，reducing the energy consumption per unit of GDP by 10% in2015 compared with that of 2008，and by 25% in 2020；increasing theefficiency of agricultural planting output by 50% by 2020： developingthe production of alternative energy，actively introducing solar energyand wind energy technologies，ensuring that the proportion of alternativeenergy and renewable cnergy is not less than half of all of the energyconsumption by 2050；addressing the supply of drinking water forresidents by 2020；during the second stage，addressing farmlandirrigation by 2040；permanently addressing the supply of water by 2050.
