This series of playing cards are based 54 old photos of diffierent times housed in Imperial Palace,with which one may learn about the ups and downs that China experienced from the late 19th Century through the early 20th Century. Characters on the photos include such emperors and concubines as Empress Dowager Cixi,Concubine Zhen,and Emperor Puyi and such high-ranked as Li Hongzhang,as well as eunuchs,female court attendants,and noblewomen.
