1. Yin Deficiency and Toxic Heat
Chief Manifestations: Dry cough with little or nosputum, or blood-stained sputum, or frequent hemopty-sis, low fever, night sweating, dry mouth, yellow urine,constipation, red tongue with little or no coating, andthready and rapid pulse.
Therapeutic Methods: To nourish yin, clear awayheat, remove toxic substance and diminish stagnation.
Prescription:Modified Shashen Maidong Tang (Gle-hniae and Ophiopogonis Decoction) and Baihe Gujin Tang(Lilii Decoction for Strengthening Lung), composed ofBeishashen ( Radix Glehniae ) 15 g, Maimendong ( Ra-dix Ophiopogonis ) 15 g, Tianmendong ( Radix Aspara-gi ) 15 g, Shengdihuang ( Radix Rehmanniae ) 15 g,Baihe ( Bulbus Lilii ) 15 g, Xuanshen ( Radix Scrophu-lariae) 15 g, Zhebeimu ( Bulbus Fritillariae Thunber-gii) 15 g, Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae) 10 g, Digupi( Cortex Lycii ) 10 g, Zhibiejia ( Carapax Trionycis,roasted, to be decocted first) 15 g, Madouling (FructusAristolochiae ) 10 g, Longkui ( Herba Solani Nigri )30 g, Shancigu (Pseuzlobulbus Cremastrae seu Pleiones)10 g, Yuxingcao (Herba Houttuyniae ) 30 g, Banzhilian( Herba Scutellariae Barbatae ) 30 g and Baihuasheshe-cao (Herba Hedyotis Diffusae ) 30 g.
1.阴虚毒热证
主要证候 干咳无痰或少痰，或痰中带血，或咯血时作，低热盗汗，口干舌燥，尿黄便结，舌质红，少苔或光红无苔，脉细数。
治法 滋阴清热，解毒散结。
方药 沙参麦冬汤合百合固金汤加减：北沙参15 g，麦门冬15 g，天门冬15 g。生地黄15 g，百合15 g，玄参15 g，浙贝母15 g，黄芩10 g，地骨皮10 g，炙鳖甲（先煎）15 g，马兜铃10 g，龙葵30 g，山慈姑10 g，鱼腥草30 g，半枝莲30 g，白花蛇舌草30 g。
