China Statistical Abstract 2021 is an annual comprehensive and concise statistical compilation compiled to reflect China's national economic and social development in a timely manner. China Statistical Summary 2021 contains data on major indicators of social and economic development in 2020, and briefly lists historical data since 1978. Content includes comprehensive, population, national economic accounting, employment and wages, prices, people's lives, finances, resources and environment, energy, fixed assets investment, foreign trade and foreign investment, agriculture, industry, construction, consumer goods retail and tourism, transportation and Posts and Telecommunications, Finance, Technology and Education, Health, Social Services, Culture and Sports, Major Social and Economic Indicators of the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, Major Social and Economic Indicators of Taiwan Province, Major International Social and Economic Indicators and Interpretation of Key Statistical Indicators.In order to ensure the publication of this book, the Chinese Statistical Summary 2021 is part of the preliminary statistics in 2020. The official data is based on the China Statistical Yearbook 2021 published in the future.The national statistical indicators covered in the book China Statistical Summary 2021 do not include Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province data unless otherwise stated. The statistics of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region of China Statistical Summary 2021 form part of the overall national statistics. However, according to the relevant principles of the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Hong Kong, Macao and the Mainland are relatively independent statistical regions, and statistical work is carried out independently according to their different statistical systems and legal provisions. The statistics of the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions in this book are provided by the Statistics Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Statistics and Census Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, and edited by the National Bureau of Statistics.
