"China City Statistical Yearbook 2012" is a fully reflect the urban socio-economic development of the annual data collection formed 658 cities across the country (including the above prefecture level cities and county-level cities) 2011 statistics of the socio-economic development.
"China City Statistical Yearbook 2012" the main content of the Yearbook is divided into four parts: the first part is the city administrative divisions are in different regions, different levels of distribution of cities; the second and third part of the above prefecture level city statistics city and county statistics, including population, labor force and land resources, economic, industrial, transportation, post and telecommunications, energy, electricity, trade, foreign travel, fixed asset investment, education, science and technology, culture, health, people life, social security, public utilities, environmental protection aspects of the data; fourth part is the Appendix, including the 2011 Urban Social and Economic Development of the Main Statistical Indicators. It should be noted that some of the indicators are not comparable between the two types of cities above prefecture level cities and county-level cities since 1997 using different index system statistics, the Yearbook of the prefecture-level and above The statistics of the city and county-level cities are divided into two independent parts.

The information listed in the city'' for the city's administrative regions, including the city, under the jurisdiction of counties, cities; City area "includes all areas of the city, does not include jurisdiction over the county and cities. The Wuhan municipal districts does not contain Huangpi District, the District of New Jersey, Jiangxia and caidian data.
