Advanced Chinese Audiovisual-Speaking Course is a multi-dimensional comprehensivelanguage teaching material prepared to meet the urgent demand for intermediateand advanced Chinese audiovisual-speaking materials for front line teaching. About the Author
Chen Tianxu, Ph.D. of Carnegie Mellon University, USA, is now anassociate professor and the head of the international undergraduate departmentof the College of International Education, Minzu University of China, as wellas the deputy director of the Open Research Center for Language Teaching,Cognition and Acquisition. Professor Chen has been engaged in internationalChinese language education for many years, and has taught Chinese language inmany universities at home and abroad, including Beijing Language and CultureUniversity, University of South Carolina, and Carnegie Mellon University. Hehas published more than 20 research papers in domestic and internationaljournals, and has participated in the compilation of five textbooks on Chineseas a foreign language, including the textbook Watching the Movie andLearning Chinese - Shower, College Chinese: Listening and Speaking (Volume 2), and Special Chinese for Pre-school in Xinjiang of BLCUP.
