Proceedings of the 10th Beijing Language and Culture University Seminar is composed of the papers collected from the 10th Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) Seminar sponsored by the Department of Scientific Research, BLCU, including the linguistics section, language teaching section, literature and culture section, and comprehensive section. All the papers have originality, abundant data, profound argumentation, which fully show the research findings and the academic competence of the BLCU teachers after 2005.The four papers of the linguistics section respectively discuss grammar, pragmatics, translation, linguistic pause and other aspects; the five papers of the Chinese language teaching are involved in the teaching of Chinese characters, the teaching of compositions, group work, classroom development,and the textbook comparisons; the four papers of the literature and culture section compare and analyze the Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming dynasties and many other literary works; and the five papers of the comprehensive section discuss accounting, the development of national and regional service industry,the course design of colleges and universities and other hot topics.<br/>
