This book is divided into eight chapters. Chapter 1-3introduce the research object, research methods and the basic features of disyllabic templates. Chapter 4 makes a statistics on the syntactic distribution of disyllabic templates. Chapter 5 makes the corresponding syntactic analysis. Chapter 6 analyzes the language function of disyllabic templates. The last chapter 7 and 8 summarize and study the fruits and the problems need to be resolved. The book with complete structure and detailed content can be used as the reference for linguistics studies and it also cast some enlightenment on Chinese teaching.
