This book concerns the continuity of maps，the connectedness and compactness of topological spaces，as well as the separation and countability axioms. Much of the book，which is accessible to students beyond their first year of undergraduate school，will interest graduate students and mathematicians who want to learn about and take advantage of basic notions along with examples and exercises in general topology.
Professor Guoliang Wang works at Beijing Institute of Technology.One of his work in topological graph theory is awarded the First Prize of Excellent Papers of Youths by a sub-society in the Operations Research Society of China.
