清代的料器精致华丽,加工工艺极高,并根据制作方法的不同而衍生出多个品种。清乾隆时期(1736—1795),清官玻璃厂在配方中加入了硼砂和砒霜,使料器的耐热膨胀性能增强,同时也推动了民间料器的配方改良,其制作出的仿玉制品几乎到了可以假乱真的地步。清官玻璃厂曾有一位胡姓总监,他生产的料器以精白料做胎,吹成花瓶、鼻烟壶、盘碗等,外施珐琅釉彩,再经高温焙烧,制作出的器物被后人称为官窑“古月轩”,为稀世珍品,其地位甚至超过了瓷器。 
Qing glassware was delicate and magnificent,highly advanced in processing techniques and able to branch into different varieties using different manufacturing methods.During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty(1736—1795),the imperial glass factory added borax and arsenic to the formulato make products more resistant to heat.This also improved the formula for nonimperial glassware.Its imitation of jade nearly blurred the boundaries between the false and the genuine.In the imperial glass factory,there was one supervisor surnamed Hu.
